Flo’s Wild Flowers

Lewis and Irene have a beautiful range of new fabrics called Flo’s Wild Flowers, They come in 3 colourways and include wild roses, forget-me-nots, bluebells, daises and lily of the valley. In this workshop, Valerie uses them to make this lovely two block quilt. She guides you through getting your grain in the right place and how to sew the blocks together. Although the second block may look complicated, Valerie, as ever, makes it look easy-peasy! Keep and eye out for the free downloadable pattern under the video. A group of Gloucestershire quilters recently staged an exhibition of their Project Linus quilts – a project that we know lots of you dedicate time to.. Book of the Month

Our Book of the Month for October is Color Bloc Quilts by Judith McCabe. The exciting thing about quilts is that when made in different colours and/or fabrics the same design looks completely different, so how great to have a book that gets you started on that exciting design route. Me-Time

We’ve a busy couple of weekends coming up at justhands-on.tv with 2 retreats this month. We’d like to wish all of you joining us in Denham and Bristol happy sewing with Valerie, Sarah and Pauline and happy textiling with Hilary. We’re sure you’ll have some fabulous ‘Me-Time’ with our very talented tutors. Relax, enjoy and stitch away.
