Knit stitch

Knitting has undergone a complete transformation in recent years and is now enjoyed by new generations of crafters. Whether young or old, people are picking up their needles and learning to knit. You may even have seen on our Facebook site pictures of #yarnbombing where knitters have taken to covering everything from lampposts to bridges – you never know this could be you too soon….

Oct 17 retreat

**UPDATE**
“Open sewing” workshop
14-15 October 2017

We’ve added an ‘open sewing’ format workshop with Valerie Nesbitt to our Textile and Quilting retreat at the Aztec hotel in Bristol on 14-15 October 2017.

This is along the lines of ‘Bring your own’ project – maybe one that you’ve got stuck with and have been wanting to finish for ages.  Or maybe you could work on a new project.  A couple of suggestions from Valerie’s own class list that have proved very popular would be the Crazy Patchwork (quick quilt in a weekend) or the slightly bigger project of the Rosebud Fayre Asymmetrical Sampler quilt. Either way, she’ll be on hand to help and advise you. Learn More+
