Tilting Squares Patchwork with Valerie Nesbitt
In this workshop, Valerie Nesbit has fun tilting 5″ squares to make an inspirational modern quilt. The background element gives the tilt effect. She uses a rotary cutter, ruler and a template to cut the background pieces. Separating the background into left and right pieces enable the squares to tilt in opposite directions. Meet Claire Campion – Quilt Pattern Designer
Valerie interviews Claire Campion amongst her wonderful quilt and cushion designs. Her designs use half square triangles, roman strips and repeated patterns to produce fresh looking blocks.
