Beginner Patchwork Sampler quilt series with Sallieann Harrison
Block 2 Four Hearts Applique block

We are bursting with cushions and applique this week!. In this new workshop, Sallieann works on the Four Hearts block – an introduction into the world of applique. She works with ‘life changing’ fusible web that she says makes applique so easy. She also has a great tip for making the hearts more flexible to work with, by removing some of the bulk of the fusible web before applying it on the heart. Watch Now+

She also shows how she uses red as the flash on a blue and white Take 9 quilt. Watch Now +

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND – with another great new Kaffe Fassett Book.

We have a unique bundle of goodies this September from Lady Sew and Sew for you, or as a gift for a friend. You will receive the new Kaffe Fassett book:  Kaffe Fassett’s Quilts in an English Village book PLUS a fat quarter bundle, available in blue or red, of 5 fabrics selected from the Kaffe Fassett fabrics range. It also comes with Free P&P in the UK for September 2021. (This bundle is only available to UK shipping addresses).

This book–the 23rd in the series – includes a range of quilts for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.  With his unerring eye, Kaffe has succeeded in finding the perfect location for his exquisite new collection of quilts, featuring both his scintillating new fabric designs and his classics, all in his unique colour palette. This time he choses the medieval
English village of Lavenham in Suffolk, where the 19 quilts in this book are set off against the ancient half-timbered Tudor houses. They are displayed in all their glory in a sumptuous eye-catching quilt gallery.

Included in this set of new designs are many very special ones by Kaffe, as well as several by his long-time friend and co-designer, Liza Prior Lucy. Flat shots, a practical know-how section and a glossary, back up the fully illustrated, step-by-step instructions for each quilt.

This is a Kaffe Fassett Collectors dream! and at such a special price for you, including
free P&P.
