13 Minute Quilt

Super Quick “13 Minute” quilt with Valerie Nesbitt

The late summer has inspired Valerie to try and match her YouTube monster hit, the 40 minute scrap quilt (viewed over 2.5 million times and still counting!) by producing another easy and quick quilt top. This time she uses just 4 Fat ¼’s and it is sewn in,  believe it or not,  just 13 minutes! Really quick and really easy. What’s not to like! Watch Now+

Square Dance

Square Dance Bag with Helen Butcher

This is another simple, modern cut and slash design from Helen, which uses squares as a start off point. These can be any size you like. Pre-cut layer cakes would work of course, although Helen has chosen to work with Longshotts from Oakshott Fabrics. You get to make three blocks at the same time, so there is a chance to vary the fabrics in each block. This is a block that requires you to trim as you go, This way they will fit together perfectly – so a great idea for a group quilt. Watch Now+
