This simple but useful bag is created using 10″ squares from a layer cake (or your stash!)
This delightful and useful bag is simple to make, from 10″ squares, and comes fully lined with tie handles .
Carolyn shows you how to make the handles – which you can be embellished with simple hand stitching – how to make the lining and then how to put it all together with a simple turn-through method(but you must remember to leave a hole !!!, )
Note from Valerie – this is a great method to use for christmas stockings and other projects that you want to line and don’t want to worry about neating off the top edge.
Note from Carolyn – the book mentioned is now available in our shop: Sew Layer Cake Quilts & Gifts Book – Click here
