When I try to sign in I get a message that the details I’ve entered are incorrect so I must get a new password. Once I’ve changed my password, a message tells me to sign in and when I do the whole cycle starts again. What should I do?
The issue is probably with automatic password resetting. It is a problem at our end related to a recent site update (August 2022) that affects a small number of subscribers. The way to solve this is the following:
- Sign in to www.justhands-on.tv as you always have with your email address and your password. You’ll know that you are signed in successfully if your name appears in the upper right hand corner of the site where Sign In used to appear.
- Click on a video to play it. Pick one of the premium videos (small padlock in visual).
- From what you’ve described, you will then be prompted to sign in again.
- Enter your email address in the prompt.
- You will then be asked to enter your password. Do NOT enter your password. Instead, follow the instructions to reset your password which appear on this prompt.
- An email will be sent to the email that you used to sign in. Follow the instructions on the email to reset your password.
- When you reset your password, make sure to use the same email address and “change” the password to the one that you just used to sign in to www.justhands-on.tv . I appreciate that it makes no sense to change your password to the password that you already have. But, please bear with us and try it.
If you get prompted to sign in again, enter your email address and this same password again. This should fix it, and you should never be bothered by this problem again.

How do I become a Paid Subscriber?
Click on the SUBSCRIBE button at the top (right) of the homepage. This will take you to a page that outlines all of the subscription packages that are available to you .
We have several fixed term subscription packages, ranging from 1 month to a year. These packages are popular with people who know they have a block of time to commit to projects before one of life’s interruptions comes along (e.g. summer holidays). We also provide recurring subscription packages. These appeal to people who work on projects regularly and don’t want their subscription to run out in the middle of a project.
When you’ve picked the package that is right for you, click on SIGN UP NOW. This will place your subscription into your shopping cart. Then, CONTINUE through the checkout as you would any other website checkout process. After you payment has been processed, you’ll receive an email with your password. Login and you are away.
I live outside of the UK, how can I work out what the cost is?
Your credit card provider will automatically convert from British Sterling to your local currency when you make the payment. If you would like to know the exchange rate that they will give you, we suggest that you contact them directly.
If you are paying using your PayPal account, then PayPal will show you the converted cost in your own currency before you press the Pay Now button.
Or you can contact us and we will give you an approximate idea of the cost. Please note that we are not a bank, but we are keen to help. We will look up your current exchange rate on the internet to give you an idea of what to expect.
How long do I have to join for?
You can join for a fixed term of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. Alternatively, you can subscribe through a recurring subscription where money is taken either monthly or annually. Your choice. And you can cancel a recurring subscription at any time before the next billing cycle.

How do I change my password?
Click on Manage My Account, and then click on the tab “Account Details.” You will see a page that lists your name, email address, current password and then two New Password spaces. Enter your new password (twice), then click the SAVE CHANGES button. Make sure you hit the SAVE CHANGES button!
How do I change my Email address?
Click on Manage My Account, and then “Account Details.” Enter your new email address in the space provided, then click the SAVE CHANGES button.
I’ve forgotten my password what can I do?
When you try to log in with an incorrect password, an error message will appear at the top of the page asking “Lost your password?” This lost password prompt also appears near the SIGN IN button. Click on “Lost your password?” and you will go to a page where you need to enter your username or email address and hit send. We will then send you an email with your login details. And please also keep an eye on your Spam / Junk folders in case the email disappears into them!
If that fails, then click on Contact Us at the top or bottom of each page and send us a message. We can send your details directly to you.
Why don’t my videos run smoothly?
We promise we didn’t record them like this! If the film is jerky it is because the airwaves (as it were) are really busy and the computer needs time to load all the information. If you experiencing these problems, click on the pause button – it looks like this II Make a cup of tea or sift through your favourite stash. This will allow a little time for the film to load. You will see a different colour bar appearing below the screen once it is fully loaded. Sit back, hit play and you should be able to view with no interruptions.
Do I have to use Paypal ?
No you don’t. You can pay by credit card. You are offered the choice between credit cards or your PayPal account in checkout. Or, you can pay by UK Sterling cheque, minimum value £10. How long are the videos on the site?
Virtually all videos are available on the site… forever. There may be the occasion where a technique is no longer relevant or the video quality from 8 years ago (a lifetime in the digital world!) requires that we upgrade or eliminate a video. Such occurrences are rare. You’d be surprised how popular some of the older tips & techniques are.
Can I view the films on full screen?
Yes you can. Look for four arrows forming a little box at the bottom right of your viewing screen. Click to enlarge and click again to reduce the size of the screen.
Are there workshop notes?
Yes, there are workshop notes with every full length Workshop. You will see a ticket icon and a message just below the video screen encouraging you to “click here” for workshop notes. Click on that and a pdf of the workshop notes will appear on your screen.
PLEASE NOTE: workshop notes are available at no extra cost to Paid Subscribers only. If you are a Visitor, you won’t be able to access these valuable workshop notes.
How do I know which are the most recent videos?
The Home Page displays all the videos that have been uploaded over the previous 4 weeks. After that, they can be accessed along with the full library of videos in the VIDEO section of the site.
If you can’t find a video that you have previously watched and you are a Paid Subscriber, then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
How do I cancel my Subscription?
Click on Manage My Account. This will take you to your Account Dashboard. Along the top row you’ll see several tabs. Click on the tab with the name “Subscriptions.” You will see a listing of the subscriptions that you have had with us. Find the row with an “active” subscription. This is the one you’ll need to cancel. Follow along that row until you come across the word “view.” Click on that and you will see all the details related to your active subscription. The first row of details is called “Status.” Listed to the right is the word “cancel.” When you click on “cancel” your subscription will be automatically cancelled before the next billing cycle.
When you are ready to re-subscribe, just follow the same sequence. Where “cancel” used to be, it will now show a status of “cancelled.” Four lines below “cancelled”, you will come across the “Actions” row and the word “Resubscribe.” Click on “Resubscribe” to restart a subscription with justhands-on.tv.
