Happy 4th July to all our American cousins.
If you are feeling British and patriotic we have a great workshop from Anne Baxter to create a Faded Flag cushion (but it has been done in all sorts of colours – so you could be bold and brave).
There is also another idea in the shop patterns section. – Union Flag by Liz Hands – that uses 2 ½” strips (or a jelly roll)
Valerie and Jennie had a great time at Sandown and you can catch up on some of the ideas by checking out the blog
They also had a great time at Dunford House at the Justhands-on.tv Sewing Weekend Getaway. If you want to join in, make a note that next year’s dates are 12-15 June 2015 with Sarah Soward (from Pauline’s Patchwork) joining them again. You’ll also find a link for the booking form in the blog.
Midsummer Mystery Quilt
The mystery quilt went live but don’t worry you haven’t missed it; all the 10 sections are still on the site and you can access them all with easy links from each part – but don’t peep!!! We have received some great pictures of the finished articles – thanks ladies – and will be building a secret gallery for them.
Today we have the final part of the Water Water Exhibition up on the site with Kate Findlay acting as our very informative hostess – if you missed the earlier sections they are still on the site, with easy links from today’s video.
There is also more of our Applique series of workshops with Valerie – again with easy links .
