Out and About
We went and toured the local quilt exhibition staged by the Severn Valley Quilters near Bristol; organised by Sheila Butler, Matt & Dave wandered round and now share with us the lovely work they saw and quilters that they met.Watch Now+
Workshops
Fast half-square triangles with Val – this is a modern update on an old and tried method of making lots of these quickly – but without the nasty 3/8th or 7/8th that we used to think was necessary. Use your rotary cutting equipment to help you but otherwise no special gadgets needed – and the best bit is that you can trim them back to be absolutely accurate! Watch Now+
Jennie’s Stripy Stripey Story Quilt continues – this time with the Delectable Mountains row. This is a really lovely block and with the modern rotary cutting techniques is really easy to make and if you are worried about all those seams, this row comes with a fudge factor! Watch Now+
