Workshops
Last weekend, Valerie challenged you to find 9 Fat 1/4s that you liked to make her quilt – were you spoilt for choice? Too many options in your stash? – well make one of each! She also offered you border options, including the very effective flat piping which just adds a splash of colour.
And, as we suggested earlier in the month, you could add double prairie points.
Today Valerie continues her series using Stitch ‘n flip, this time to create star sashing, which will add zing to an otherwise straightforward quilt.
There is also a useful tip about not panicking if the selvedges inadvertently sneak in!
Meet Philippa Naylor
This interview was conducted a while ago but her quilts remain fabulous to see. She has a new book coming out later this month – keep watching to find out more – and of course she tours the country, indeed the world, sharing and teaching.

Only a Quilter….
Would spend hours sewing several hundreds of buttons onto a quilt to embellish it, but wouldn’t take five minutes to replace a button on a pair of trousers!
Happy Sewing
