Workshops
Today we are joined by Anne Baxter and she shares with us her love of patchwork and a great bit of magic – simple 4 patch, which is quick and easy, with an option for using recycled shirts too. In fact this is the second piece of magic this month, as Jennie also showed us some E-Z Magic 9 patch
Both these workshops are the very silly essence of today’s patchwork – take great fabric;cut it up; sew it together, cut it apart again and then sew it together again – only possible of course by using the rotary cutter to keep you very accurate and the sewing machine so that your stitches don’t come undone! And come both with a warning that they are addictive.
Magna Carta update
The Magna Carta quilts are winging their way to Houston to be on display there for Quilt Market and Quilt Festival.
If you are enjoying the tour we filmed at Guildford Cathedral, you can purchase a keepsake book from our shop, which contains all the history, great pics, and great information on the legacy quilts too, and a pack of 8 postcards – one for each of the quilts – again with all the information about them on the reverse.
