‘Christmas‘ in July
Thinking of the word ‘Christmas‘ in July is hard to do. However, we do need to plan. And to help you, that month we had a bumper set of workshops for you, which should give you some more sewing time.
Nancy Adamek, who is passionate about English Paper Piecing, had a workshop for a dinky little Robin ornament for your tree. You can find this video by clicking here. Also, Angela Daymond had a Kantha tree decoration to show you. This video is available on our website, just click here. And Gail Penberthy shared with us how to make her stunning Christmas Tree Skirt, just click here to open.
Val Nesbitt brought us a lovely new Christmas Wall Hanging from Makower. This workshop is also available on our website, just click here. This is working with a whole variety of fabric ranges and has a free pattern to download. Also, Julia Gahagan showed us some super miniature quilts inspired by Christmas. You can enjoy this video here. Several of these she designed exclusively for our upcoming retreat with Julia in November that year. This video you can find by clicking here.
Throwback Thursday
Our Throwback Thursday for July was Jennie Rayment and her Fabric Balls. She used up scraps, which could be Christmas themed and they were very safe for the very little ones! You can enjoy this video here.
