Also known as Disappearing 9 Patch this is a very quick and easy quilt to make and could make a great dent in your fabric stash.
What did we do before the rotary cutter? and such a silly game we play; take truly lovely fabric, cut it up, sew it together, cut it up again, and sew it up again. But what a great result! And the variety is endless – not only by changing the fabrics, but also by simply changing the size of the squares you cut.
The setting of this Disappearing 9 Patch is one of the few that actually makes the design tesselate – as you can see the pattern zig-zag’s across the quilt .
This is a really lovely pattern, downloadable so you can get started straight away, and you will be amazed at just how quickly you can make this quilt – of course, making the top is only part of the story, but the quilting can be fairly fast and easy too.
