You need to defluff your machine regularly!

Superior Threads in America have a Dr of Threadology - Dr.Bob;  if you go to their website https://www.superiorthreads.com   it is full of wonderful information and here is a true and salutory story from their June 2013 newsletter:   Lint is defined as an accumulation of fluffy fibers. We have lint in clothes dryers, clothing, and unfortunately, our sewing machines.

What you can watch during May 2013

Well we have 5 Friday’s in this month so lots to enjoy and we start off with Part two of the visit we made to the Great Northern Quilt Show in Harrogate back in 2012;  this time we are enjoying meeting some of the traders and catching up with what they have to offer as well as a very enjoyable interview with Susan Briscoe who is well known for her Japanese quilts.

Another great filming day with Jennie and Valerie

Before the whole of the UK seemed to be shut through snow Jennie and I managed to get together with Dave and Matt for a most productive day in front of the camera's. There were cats, chickens, hexagons, patriotic red, white and blue, a serger, some crazy - and that's just from Jennie !!!!! Valerie managed some recycling (of men's shirts), a trip to a cafe and some grandmother's fan handwork as well as this delightful Caddy Pad - which is  a travelling tote for your iron with some heat resistant fabric so it doubles up as an ironing pad.
