TASTER: Riot Denim Crochet mittens with Jane Czaja
FREE Tasters (Crochet) • Educational, G, 18-Feb-2022
Jane has made these wrist warmers in King Cole Riot Chunky yarn in the Denim colour. They are worked in double crochet, into the back loop, and half trebles.
These are crocheted sideways and Jane shows us how to finish a row and start again, remembering to change the stitches for the ribbing – hence the clever use of the stitch markers.
If you would like to turn these into mittens, then you can easily leave a hole in the side when sewing up, for your thumb to go through.
And finally, Jane suggests you might like to think about adding a simple scallop edge.
There are workshop notes for subscribed members and there is an instant download of the pattern available in our shop, along with Jane’s other crochet patterns.
