Description

A comprehensive workshop from Kathleen where she introduces the goldwork series.

Kathleen shows you how to create a delightful Bumblebee with texture in the body created from the purl and check wires, which she admits is a little fiddly, but very straightforward and worth taking a little time over.

Kathleen likes to have her work in a small hoop and also talks about beading needles. If you need a hoop or the beading needles – click here .

You get to use the couching method, that Kathleen talks in depth about in this video, to neaten off the body. Then you can give definition to the wings with simple long stitches.

Finally, Kathleen talks about using acrylic paint to quickly fill in the space for the head.
