I made this iron tote bag last week, with the pattern (available from the shopping pages)plus the fabric from Creative Quilting, after being inspired by your piece on Just Hands On. Hampden Park Quilt Appeal for Alzheimer Scotland

Ribbon Roses PinCushion
Joyce made this lovely pincushion and wrote to Lorna as follows:

Ipad covers by Lyn
Hi Valerie...attached a couple of pics..I pad & laptop covers...enjoyed making the seminole bags & we enclosed clever plastic coated magnets inside the flap to close...Lyn We are looking into whether or not the magnets will be a problem for Ipads and/or other computerized items - in the meantime perhaps velcro would be safer?!
Greg’s Quilt by Tina
This lovely quilt was made with a machine quilt-as-you- technique in vertical strips which were then sashed and Tina made the clever decision to make the sashing scrappy; This is a technique we will be sharing with you but what a great quilt this turned out to be Tina.
Quick Quilt (and big!)
Pat decided to make her son a very large quilt but wanted something quick - so took inspiration from the stripey quick quilt workshop; she also added sashing to make the quilt even bigger!
Tumbling Blocks by Machine
I am so pleased to finish my tumbling blocks with Jenny's help. I liked the hand sewing one too and might try it later on. from Joyce So by hand or by machine the blocks still look good - well done Joyce.
What Linda made with her Simply Crazy template
Linda has obviously had a lot of fun with the template; there are more workshops planned to help get even better use from this little bit of plastic!
Group sampler surprise
Using the Your First Sampler blocks as a starting point, adding some blocks of their own and under the guidance of Lyn Butler a group of friends made this lovely surprise gift for Beryl's surprise party. and she loved it!!! and I'm not surprised - it is really lovely; lucky girl.
Bargello Tablemat/Runner
Thank you for setting the bargello pattern up for me. After having a look at it I had a play and made a table mat which then turned into a table runner. Here is a picture of it. I shall do a demo of this on Monday evening and hope to get lots made to sell at St Michael's Hospice in November.
Cold enough for penguins in the garden
Hi Valerie ..enjoyed the video on machine quilting today...which is very strange as that's exactly what I have been doing today.. pattern from P&Q mag...made 2 wall hangings and a table mat for a pending class...Lyn There is something very appealing about Penguins isn't there

Lifted Star
So happy to send you the image of the Lifted Star. I am so proud of it. It took me 3 attempts to get it the right size but perceverance paid off. Thanks to Sylvia from Joyce and very nice it is too!
