Enjoy a Quilting Weekend with two of the UK’s leading quilting tutors. You will have the chance to spend one day with each tutor. One day will be spent working with Valerie Nesbitt and feature fabrics and the other day you’ll be working with Jennie Rayment and some very clever patchwork shapes
Feature Fabrics with Valerie Nesbitt
Is your stash cupboard full of lovely feature fabrics? Are you afraid to cut into them or are you not sure how to use them? Well let Valerie show you how easy it is to create this amazing Postcard quilt by combining your lovely feature fabric with just a couple of co-ordinating or contrasting fabrics.
Changing Places with Jennie Rayment
Like all simple ideas this is a great one – yet another of Jennie’s original natty notions. Make a traditional patchwork block then change the pattern by simply removing part of the design and repositioning! Just turn sections round for a totally different effect, bond the new arrangement and Hey Presto – it’s a wondrous new creation. Just sew, cut and go for a fabulous finished effect. Simple to make yet oh sew stunningly different!
A quilting weekend for £395 per person
Classes will take place in the hotel from 10 – 4 on Saturday and 10 – 4 on Sunday AND you can work until late, late, late on Saturday evening if you want.
Lunch and refreshments will be served both days including a buffet lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and a buffet lunch on Sunday.

- 1 night accommodation at the luxurious 4* Langstone Quays Resort
- Double room with single occupancy, so no sharing, unless you want to.

The Langstone Quays Resort will be our home for the weekend. Located in the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hotel offers a stunning seaside setting. It is an ideal location for sewing retreats as the teaching, modern accommodation and restaurant are all under one roof. There is a spa and you are welcome to enjoy the use of all its facilities during your stay, so you can use the gym or just relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet moment in the jacuzzi, the choice is yours! There is also free parking and free wifi. Indeed, Langstone Quays offers everything you need for the perfect weekend retreat.

Materials are not included in the cost of the retreat. If appropriate, a requirements list will be sent to you near to the date of your retreat.
