Join us for a very special weekend of crochet where you get to choose the project you’ll work on for the weekend from three designs that Gaynor White will be teaching:
Pondicherry Poncho – start this pretty poncho which uses a variety of stitches following a chart as well as a written pattern to create an item of clothing that is both practical and beautiful.
Cabled ear warmer/headband – create this simple but striking on-trend headband using crochet cables.
Crocheted purse – use beautiful colour-changing yarn to create a charming little purse / keep safe complete with colourful clip fastening.
The weekend has been structured for confident beginners through to intermediate crocheters. And, don’t worry about materials. You’ll receive a kit with all materials needed for your project – – except for the poncho project, where you’ll need to bring your own wool. The cost for pattern and kit is included in your retreat fee.
A weekend retreat for £460 per person
Classes will take place in the hotel from 10 – 4 on Saturday and 10 – 4 on Sunday AND you can work until late, late, late on Saturday evening if you want.
Lunch and refreshments will be served on both days, plus dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.

The Hog’s Back Hotel & Spa, Farnham, Surrey
The Hog’s Back Hotel and Spa will be our home for the weekend. Located in the stunning North Downs in Surrey between Farnham in the west and Guildford in the east, the hotel offers you a perfect countryside setting. It is an ideal location for retreats as the teaching, modern accommodation, and restaurant are all under one roof. There is a spa and you are welcome to enjoy the use of all its facilities during your stay, so you can use the gym or just relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet moment. The choice is yours! There is also free parking and free wifi. Indeed, it offers everything you need for the perfect weekend retreat.

Materials are not included in the cost of the retreat. If appropriate, a requirements list will be sent to you near to the date of your retreat.
