Apart from flowers, who do quilters love most? well more fabric of course! So we hoped that Anne would love the bundle of fabric we chose for her as a 'thankyou' for our great filming day together - well look what she made with it! Love it Anne - thanks again.

This was made by Lyn using the modern charm quilt workshop as inspiration: she asked the family to each send a couple of wishes by email..then printed out their handwritten wishes,then traced the words onto the border and backstitched the words Isn't it lovely! (and the new addition is gorgeous too!)

Just a quick follow-up to the wonderful weekend at Dunford House.
I had my finished quilt top long arm quilted and then I did the binding myself. I have given it to my son and daughter-in-law who are delighted with it and have attached a photo of the finished quilt for you.
I never thought I would have got as far as I did over one weekend and have to say I was so pleased with the result
Many thanks for all you help and advice especially with rotary cutting that I am now confidently using more and more(this is going to drive my husband mad).

Inspired by the pincushion video from Carolyn Forster here is one that Joy made: I just had to share the biscornu pillow I made following the video that was made for the pincushion. I just enlarged it and again made it match the quilt and other pillow I made. This is the result and I am really please with the way it turned out.
