Create your own Marbled fabric
In this week’s workshop, Craig Joubert of Marbling 4 Fun shows Valerie how to create her own piece of marbled fabric. Craig has some great tips for you including how to test your fabric to check it will marble well. Learning to Crochet with Rosee Woodland
Would you like to learn a new skill this year – have you thought about taking up crochet? To get you on your way, the very talented Rosee Woodland has created a series of videos for you. Crochet projects start with a chain – so once you know how to fasten on, you can settle down to all your other options.. Watch Now+
Then once you’ve mastered this you can move onto the double crochet stitch, which is quite a firm stitch and often used for home furnishings and toys. Watch Now+
You can also learn the treble crochet stitch which is often used when creating Granny Squares (similar to knitting) which can then be turned into quilts/rugs. Watch Now+
