Tips from Valerie on how to sew the pattern from Lewis & Irene which uses Bumbleberries fabrics.
Description
The Bumbleberries range of fabrics is an on-going range from Lewis & Irene but not all the colours carry on from season to season, so while you will be able to make a quilt that is similar to this, the colours may vary a little. You get full requirements on the pattern, so do wander into your local quilt shop with a copy and get shopping!
Valerie gives you some tips on how to make the two basic units for the quilt as well as some hints on what to look out for in trying to get the perfect finish.
The pattern was designed for Lewis & Irene by Sally Ablett and in it she asks you to cut patchwork pieces that have 3/8 inch and 5/8 inch. Don’t panic, your rulers will help you easily get the job done.
If you are not a subscribed member of Justhands-on.tv you can still download the free pattern by clicking here. But you obviously miss out on all the helpful advice mentioned above!
