This is an extract from our longer series of workshops entitled Your First Sampler Quilt, in which Valerie takes you through all the stages for making a quilt, from choosing the fabrics through cutting and piecing. And for those with some sewing skills, there is often a second more challenging block for you to try. Each block builds on the skill set learnt in the preivous one.
