No knots, no birds nests

When working with a quilt sandwich you must remember that the back of your project needs to be as beautiful as the front – no knots and no birds nests!

This is easy when working by hand but what do you do when you are using the machine and you want to start in the middle of your work? Well Valerie shows you the answer – you need to pull the bottom thread up through your work so that it is under control and you can knot these off neatly later.
