Description
Anne talks through the various elements/stages/sections of this delightful quilt. The plan is for the various sections to be uploaded onto the site in segments. Like this, you can create your own version of this quilt. And learn some interesting techniques along the way.
You could think of this is a very modern and slightly unusual Sampler Quilt.
Here are the fabric requirements:
Please note that Anne chose to use authentic colours. However you may work in any colours you like. But remember that this is an ethnic design and lends itself to plain/hand dyed fabrics. Leave your florals at home!!
3 mtrs Donkey Brown
2 mtrs Cream
1.5 mtrs Red
½ mtr Blue
Fat Q Yellow Ochre
This is a fairly generous allowance, however it does allow for variations, and the leftovers can be pieced for the backing.

Anne has sewn all of her life, prolifically for the last 25 years. She works across a wide range of patchwork and appliqué techniques and designs — from the Navajo blanket quilt that includes simple and advance techniques to simple cushion designs.
