Videos were available from 21 October. On Friday October 21st, we took a really interesting look at the world of Contemporary Goldwork. Kathleen Laurel-Sage visited the Justhands-on.tv studios and talked to Valerie Nesbitt about some of her ideas and inspiration. On the same day Valerie gave us a fabulous tutorial on a two block quilt using one of her favourites the 54/40 block combined with a chain block. The aim of it is create a really fascinating quilt design using a Simplicity Tri Recs template to make thing much easier.
The following week, we reached part fourteen of Jennie’s Stripy, Stripey, Story Quilt. In the penultimate part of this fascinating series, Jennie would be looking at the borders and scrappy edging for the quilt. Also on Friday 28th we met Kathleen Laurel-Sage again. She took us through a brand new workshop on Goldwork Couching. That is technique that you will definitely not want to miss.
