Video trailer about workshops, which were published from 15 September to 5 October 2017.
Description
Angela Madden shared with us a great way to stitch the feather wreath pattern which avoids double stitching the feathers and tying in the ends. You can find this video on our website, just click here. And on the same day we heard from Angela Daymond on how to get the best out of the amazing Ink tense pencils to create beautiful pictures and designs on your fabric, or indeed colour in previously stitched designs like the feather wreath. This workshop is also available on our website by clicking here.
And then on Friday 22nd September 2017 we returned to the studios of Colouricious. There Jamie Malden gave us a demonstration using Gelli printing with Stencils to create truly unique patterns. This video you can find by clicking here. And Valerie visited the lovely East Anglian port of Wivenhoe, where she visited the local maritime centre to wander round the ‘Threads’ textile exhibition featuring talented local artists. This video you also can find on our website, just click here.
A week later on Friday 29th September 2017 we again met Angela Madden. She gave us an excellent workshop using her unique Multiplat tool, which allows you to easily create an endless selection of celtic designs. You can find this video by clicking here. And finally Carolyn Forster showed us how to use a Jelly Roll to create a very modern scrap quilt, which looks as though the fabric has been woven. To open this video just click here.
