Description
Angela Madden shares with us a great way to stitch the feather wreath pattern which avoids double stitching the feathers and tying in the ends (don’t we just love time saving tips from the experts). And on the same day we hear from another Angela – Angela Daymond on how to get the best out of the amazing Ink tense pencils to create beautiful pictures and designs on your fabric, or indeed colour in previously stitched designs like the feather wreath.
And then on Friday 22nd September we return to the studios of Colouricious where Jamie Malden gives us a demonstration using Gelli printing with Stencils to create truly unique patterns, whilst Valerie pays a visit to the lovely East Anglian port of Wivenhoe where she visits the local maritime centre to wander round the ‘Threads’ textile exhibition featuring talented local artists.
A week later on Friday 29th September we again meet Angela Madden, as she gives us an excellent workshop using her unique Multiplat tool which allows you to easily create an endless selection of celtic designs. And finally Carolyn Forster will be showing us how to use a Jelly Roll to create a very modern scrap quilt which looks as though the fabric has been woven.
