In this workshop Jennie shows you how to use this multi-size template and there is a mini version which is perfect for use with jelly roll strips; and she also gives some ideas for patterns and designs.
Where would patchwork be without the Hexagon; this is a patchwork classic! This is a multi-size template and perfect for use with the rotary cutter. 1.5inch up to 5.5inch. This is traditionally the perfect quilt for using up scraps and creating a family heirloom (or just being frugle)
There is also a mini template that works perfectly with 2.5inch strips so jelly roll strips too. (or think of cutting down uour 5″charm squares.)
This template is designed to be used with strips of fabric.
Jennie talks through some other options such as fusing the hexagons and Valerie has done something similar in her workshop – Inner City.
mentions Hexagon sheet too.
If you really like this form of patchwork -check out the workshops for EPP – and you could use this template to cut your own papers – remember that cutting paper does blunt your rotary blade so think about using an old one.
