It is one of the designs from the Embroidered Country garden series and is featured in Lorna’s book – Embroidered Country Gardens.
This luxurious kit contains absolutely everything needed to complete it. The idea behind the design is that everyone gets to create their own unique garden for their needlecase. A basic design is screened/printed onto the fabric. This is then added to from the design sheet supplied. You can then add as many flowers as they would like to create your own garden.
Fabric (pure linen/cotton blend fabric) is supplied for the back and front of the needlecase , as well as for the button. In addition backing muslin/calico is included as well as a full set of skeins of thread (14 x perle No. 12 for garden, 1 x stranded cotton for edging and 3 twists of stranded cottons for hollyhocks and the flower pot), lining, button for covering, pure wool felt for needle leaves, needles and a comprehensive set of photographs, instructions and stitch glossary.
Finished size of design: 3½” x 6” or 8cm x 15cm (embroidered area).
Finished size of needlecase: 5” x 6½” ( or as desired as plenty fabric included)
All of Lorna’s designer kits are beautifully packaged and presented in sturdy carrier bags, making them very suitable as gifts
