Chris has designed a special template to make dresden plate quickly and accurately.
Description
In this workshop Chris shows how to create this circular patchwork quickly and easily, with the help of her template. This allows you to cut accurately through several layers with your rotary cutter which means your sewing will be much more accurate.
Also, Chris has thought through how to create these from jelly rolls, which gives a very different look, but as simple to do.
Once you have made the plates, they are very simple to applique onto a background, as the tops are already turned, so no raw edges to deal with, and you can use your favourite machine stitch with lovely thread to complete your work.
