By Steve Barton, justhands-on.tv CEO
It is with great sadness we share the news that Juliet Coffer passed away.
Juliet was a critically important part of the set-up of and running of justhands-on.tv from the very beginning. She dedicated herself to justhands-on.tv – – from keeping the operations ticking over to responding to support questions. Many of you may have benefited from her patient, generous support.
Juliet was about more than justhands-on.tv. She was a huge part of our sarcoidosis community, supporting and fundraising for SarcoidosisUK, as well as continuously thinking of ways to support the charity and raise the profile of sarcoidosis. She regularly featured in local press, radio, and television where she advocated for the rights of the clinically vulnerable and inspired others with her determination and positivity. Through her incredible fundraising efforts, including her Warrior Walk challenge in 2021 and her Hallway Hike in 2022, she raised over £45,000 for SarcoidosisUK. If you would like to remember Juliet, nothing would have made her happier than a donation to SarcoidosisUK via her Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/julietcoffer2
Juliet was truly a wonderful, kind, and brave lady who touched the lives of so many people and will be dearly missed by us all.
I’m a die hard night owl. Over the last few years Juliet has entertained me with gentle after midnight banter. I had no idea she was ill.
She was prompt ,professional & most importantly warm & funny in a world of decreasing human contact. I’m sorry we never met in person as I know I’d have liked her immediately. RIP a nice woman coping with a ghastly illness. Jane xx
