Quarter Square Triangles with precision by Valerie Nesbitt
Inspired by the recent cushions created with the Fruity Friends Makower fabric, Valerie brings us a very useful technique of creating fast and accurate quarter square triangles which she used to create her quilt inspired by the same fabric Watch Now+

Mickey Mouse jelly roll quilt with Jennie Rayment
We never really grow up and we’re sure you all have a bundle of fun fabric in your stash. As a fond Grandma, Jennie uses simple strip piecing, here, to make a very quick fun quilt using a Mickey Mouse Jelly Roll.
Jennie uses a 3-strip set but says you could make them from more, and any size you like – but she was constricted by the fact that she had 20 strips of the Mickey Mouse fabric and used 18 to create the quilt. (with 2 to spare for some thin binding) Watch Now+

Calling all Lefty Crocheters
If you struggle to crochet because you’re left handed then Sarah Hatton’s short series will help get you on your way. In the first video, Sarah gets your working on the starter chain and explains just how different it is to work crochet if you are left handed and gives you some tips on what you need to look out for and also what to think about with your patterns. We just wanted to wish all our ‘retreaters’ heading off to Windsor this weekend a fabulous weekend of stitching, They’ll be learning from the very talented Gail Lawther and Kathleen Laurel Sage.
