Anne Baxter told Valerie about her Navajo blanket quilt. This would be our new Block of the Month program starting soon. So you get to make one too. We also continue to spend time with Anne in her studio in Devon as she demonstrates her beautiful Turtle Dove Tree design. This is ideal for wall hangings or cushions and perfect for a Christmas project.
We return to Paula Doyle and Angela Daymond, who are still “Going Crazy” as they brought us part 2 of their comprehensive workshop on Crazy Patchwork. Paula is working with the help of the sewing machine, and Angela is continuing to work by hand on this traditional but popular scrap-patchwork favorite. We also return to Anne Baxter’s studio to learn how to create a brilliant Zig Zag table runner. That is made from 6 fabrics in a pack of fat quarters. It gets its zig-zag effect from the setting of the little rectangles rather than the usual half-square triangles.
