Rotary Cutting
Rotary cutting has become an essential part of today’s patchwork so If you struggle with getting the best from your equipment this month we have some useful tips for you. This week Valerie reminds you how to remove and replace the blade on your rotary cutter safely Watch now+
If you struggle particularly with cutting those larger pieces of fabric, some alternatives are available (without going out to buy a bigger ruler!) such as using two rulers; using the reverse of the board; having the board do the counting and last week Valerie showed you how in this workshop. And keep an eye out for part 3 next week where Valerie will show you how to rotary cut strips, squares and rectangles; quickly, easily and accurately.
Poppy Appeal Update
We’ve posted an update and a video to let you know the latest about the poppy appeal for St Mary’s Church in Wotton-under-Edge, including details of 250 poppies from a group in Australia who had seen the appeal on our website. Read Now+
