A tribute to Kate Percival
It is with sadness that we share the news that Kate Percival, one of our delightful quilting friends and contributors lost her battle with life at the end of August. Rest in Peace. Her workshops and quilts live on as a legacy to her craftsmanship, and expertise. We were out filming not long after with Helen Howes and Helen Butcher and this week we hear their touching tribute to her. Watch Now+
Sampler Quilt – Block 2
In this, our second block of the series – 9 Patch and variations – we remind you today how to rotary cut strips and how to cut squares quickly, accurately and safely. We also cover strip piecing to make the alternative 4-patch segments and how to sew the 4-patches together accurately.
