About Jayne

Jayne loves to interact with people. She has worked as a community tutor teaching Patchwork & Quilting and Soft Furnishings at various venues. Prior to this she spent 10 years making handmade footwear.

Lifted Star inspiration

Hi Valerie...loved doing these....so made two!   I would add that the measurements are quite tight! Had a little trouble stretching the first one over the hoop...so cut the final rounds a little wider for an easier life!..Lyn and if you want to enjoy the workshop - click here

New Films in the can

Had a terrific day yesterday filming new content for the site: Matt and Dave were there of course and we filmed the various sections  that will make up into Your First Sampler Quilt series; we used gorgeous fabric donated by Makower from their Botanicals range (for which we are very grateful) and we hope that the programme will appeal to both beginners and those with some sewing/patchwork skills as we give alternatives for each or the blocks.
