The true title for this awardwinning quilt is ‘The Unlikely Machine ‘ and Gail explains to Valerie Nesbitt how she thought up the design.
These days Gail spends most of her time designing patterns under her business name ‘Endless Threads’ but as you can see she has also designed a wonderful, funny and beautiful quilt.
Here she talks to Valerie about the engineering behind the work and how the quilt was made – mostly in applique, which she continue to love.
You can learn more about Gail and her patterns in the interview she gave us with Sue from Daisy Chain Designs.
Stop Press:We are thrilled to tell you that Gail will be joining us at a quilt retreat in March 2018 at the beautiful Cotswold Water Park in Cirencester and if you would like to learn more about this – just click here.
Gail is an accomplished pattern designer and teacher. She loves to make three dimensional items as well as cushions, quilts and wallhangings. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys spending most of her time writing patterns and thinking up new and quirky ideas and how to make them.
