Description

In this section of our visit we see more of the work from the Fed Edge Textiles group;

we enjoy a workshop from Lynda Monk using Lutradur and we also get to learn about thermofax  screens and stencils as well as puff paint;  – for supplies you should go to Art Van Go    www.artvango.co.uk

Lynda is the author of two books: Exploring Creative Surfaces and Fabulous Surfaces – both of which are published by d4daisy.

Jean Wright demonstrates and shares her love of goldwork trying to make it more appealing for the younger generation (and check out her beautiful brooch which uses a glass flower marble for its centre!).  Jean taught at the Cottenham Summer School that year.

Sarah from Bee Crafty has some lovely new products and kits to show us, including one now the the lovely brooch that featured in our workshop video.

click here to enjoy it:

and you can wander round their (old) shop by clicking here – their move just takes them into larger space at the same location.
(this is all true and correct at the time of filming; Sarah has now moved on from Bee Crafty)

21st Century Yarns https://www.21stcenturyyarns.com
