Description

This is the third hexagon design that Jane shares and again she uses 5mm hook and aran yarn. You start by making a ring and then you need to make half trebles. The second round is really important and this uses groups of trebles.

To turn the star into a hexagon, you need to complete a total of 5 rounds and once again you have 9 treble on each side, which will allow you to join easily these to any of the previous design you have made.

Jane has a great tip on how to tighten up the centre of the circle, so you aren’t left with a hole!

And did you see just how beautiful the alternative scrappy design is.

There are workshop notes for subscribed members.

Jane also has a hexagon throw pattern available on our website.

Jane has 2 other workshops on making different styles of Hexagons that you can watch on the site: Plain Crochet Hexagons workshop and
Flower Crochet Hexagons workshop.
