This is a simple quilt that uses just 5 fabrics – uneven quantities so a good chance to raid your stash.
In this workshop Valerie reminds you about the difference between Fat 1/4 yards and Fat 1/4 metres – one is bigger than the other!!!
You have a design option of adding sashing or not to the blocks – they work well either way and if you are a sewer with a less than perfect 1/4″ seam allowance, don’t worry – you can trim these blocks back so that they fit perfectly.
The workshop sample is made up of just 9 blocks but you could of course make as many as you like and one of Valerie’s students has made several quilts that are bigger and you can enjoy these in Show & Tell section of the site.
