Another quick and easy weekend quilt that you can make any size depending on the fabrics you start with.
Take 3 Fabrics with Valerie Nesbitt (workshop notes)
Description
Valerie shows you how to create this quilt using just three fabrics – well two that have quantity and then a small accent square – so not much needed there.
In the original quilt she was inspired by the wonderful seascape fabric; then realised how easy it is to create so went on to make the very quick children’s quilt with 1930’s inspired fabric.
Simple rotary cutting and a small amount of strip piecing, together with BIG strips of fabric you can make this easily in an afternoon! and no need to worry about accurate seam allowance – anything goes as this is your quilt!!! (and great if you are used to metric as well!)
