A collection of delightful textile monkeys that Karen was working on for her gallery exhibition.
Description
Karen’s ‘Singerie’ exhibition was held at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery, London in October 2013.
In this interview Karen talks us through her inspiration for the various monkeys. We also get to enjoy work that includes the use of sequin film, pyrography, torn fabric strips, sequined fabric and printed tattoo’s. One particular monkey was inspired by Karen’s trip to the Bosphorus.
