As May and the better weather arrive we have lots of great new videos to inspire you.
We have arrived at the 3rd and final part of our Maggie Davies series on Hawaiian Applique and in this episode Maggie is demonstrating perfect points and as well as putting a knot in your thread.
We also arrive at part 3 of Dionne Swift’s Sensational Sewing Seminar series. In this episode Dionne is telling all about the importance of thread selection and the advantages of quality threads in all your sewing work.
Valerie Nesbitt is in the studio showing how to create this lovely heart block as part of the Turning Twenty quilt pattern and our expert Crochet artist Gaynor White returns with this excellent workshop on creating a very useful and attractive purse.
We also move on to the 2nd episode of our new Structural Stitches Workshop series from Dionne Swift … In this episode she demonstrates the joy of No Hand Sewing and shows us how useful it is for building confidence and skills with your sewing machine.
And finally, our Tip Thursday for May features Lucy Engels telling us how her background in print making inspires her quilt designs.

About the Tutor
Valerie is the founder and Creative Director of justhands-on.tv , as well as our very own ‘Queen of Scrap’. She founded Creative Quilting, a quilt shop in Hampton Court, where she still teaches to this day.
Dionne paints with stitches to create dynamic, vibrantly coloured textiles. Her needle becomes her pen and thread her ink. The scale, emotion, and energy of her landscapes are inspirational.
Gaynor is a crochet-obsessed teacher and pattern designer from Wokingham in Berkshire.
Maggie is well known for appliqué, hot ribbon art and needlefelting. She has developed a new simple technique for invisible needle turn appliqué, perfect points, inward Vs and perfectly rounded curves.
