Description

Rag Quilts – use up your wadding scraps

Rag quilts are quilts that have exposed seam allowances on their fronts and finished, traditional seams on their backs.

Whether you are making the bag, cushion or quilt, you can use small squares of fabric, add scraps of wadding and work both sides of the project at the same time; so when you are done, you are done – no layering, quilting or binding left to do!

Gail Penberthy is a new designer but I’m sure we will be seeing a lot more of her. The quilt with Snuggle written across it can be found in the Shopping pages under ‘Dolly Mixture’ and there is another pattern by Gail, called ‘Woodland Friends’ that you might like to look at.
