Videos were available from 3 June. You can see it on Justhands-on.tv, as we went out and about with a visit to the lovely West Country town of Thornbury. The home of the Severn Valley Quilters. A quilt exhibition called Fine Cell Work is held there annually. Also, on 3rd June, Valerie showed us how to draw a grid onto fabric to create fast Half-square triangles – a beneficial technique.
Then on Friday 10th June, we released part 5 of Jennie Rayment’s Stripy, Stripey Story Quilt. This time Jennie came down from the Delectable Mountains, featured in part 4. She arrived at the lakes and beaches of this charming row. Meanwhile, in a fascinating workshop, Sue Rhodes showed us how to create a beautiful Folded Japanese cushion. It covers Folded Japanese cushion covers in an engaging seminar.
