Description
We begin the first of an exciting two-part workshop. Craig Joubert of Marbling 4 fun shows Valerie how to create her own piece of fabric large enough for her to use and turn into a cushion cover in part 2.
We also see the first of a two-part retrospective look at a super Cambridge Textiles in Focus exhibition. Meet Pauline Verrinder, who did not just coordinate this event but was also a mentor and teacher for a number of gifted and talented groups that were exhibiting . She also took time out to show us how to create skeleton leaves from thread.
Then a week later, we start to share Anne Baxter’s Navajo Blanket quilt project with you. Part one is the centre medallion section, called Thunder and Lightning, which Anne thinks of as a little bit of magic.
We’ll also be bringing you a super new workshop from Paula Doyle called Penny Ruggs. That are traditional and primitive looking quilts created from small scraps! Keep an eye out on Facebook for a sneaky preview…
