On Friday 18th May we meet textile artist Sallieann Harrison who shares with us her love of wool appliqué, particularly with the help of her sewing machine ; as well as meeting her long-eared friend Luna Lupin who was created also with the help of the sewing machine.
Also, on Friday 18th we reach part 5 of Anne Baxter’s lovely series on creating her Navajo Blanket quilt. In this workshop, she’ll be showing us how to create the beautiful Seminole band , which is one of Anne’s favourite sections.
Then on Friday 25th May Sallieann Harrison gives us a very comprehensive guide to Wool Applique using a sewing machine where she tells us about the threads, and needles she likes to use plus other helpful advice to help you get started.
We also reach part two of Paula Doyle’s series on American Hand Piecing where she talks to us about rectangles and tilted square blocks.
