Description
We meet textile artist Sallieann Harrison, who shares her love of wool appliqué. The sewing machine particularly helped in creating her friends. Her long-eared friend Luna Lupin was also made using the sewing machine.
Also, on Friday 18th, we reach part 5 of Anne Baxter’s lovely series on creating her Navajo Blanket quilt. She will show us how to make the beautiful Seminole band in this workshop. Which is one of Anne’s favorite sections.
Then on Friday 25th, May, Sallieann Harrison gives us a comprehensive guide to Wool Applique using a sewing machine. She tells us about the threads, needles she likes to use, and other helpful advice to help you get started there.
We also reach part two of Paula Doyle’s series on American Hand Piecing, where she talks to us about rectangles and tilted square blocks.
