Videos available from 3rd March 2017:
On Friday March 17th we meet designer, Joanna Smith-Ryland and see her remarkable patchwork and leather bags as Valerie Nesbitt chats with her about the products and cathedral window patchwork inspiration behind them. Also on Friday 17th, Valerie herself brings us a great new workshop based around a lovely pattern called Box of Stars, as she advises us on the best way to make accurate and precise patchwork using this beautiful design.
Then a week later, on Friday March 24th, we get another new workshop from Valerie, where she will show us how to make a lovely Autumn Bumbleberries quilt, from a free downloadable pattern designed by Sally Ablett for Lewis and Irene. On the same day Joanna Smith-Ryland tells us exactly how she creates her wonderful Cathedral Window patchwork using silk, in this charming workshop.
Then, on Friday 31st March, we get an excellent FREE tip from Jennie Rayment on stabilizing your embroidery, and on the same day Val gets a tour of the “Gillian Gladrag Fluffatorium” shop in Dorking with its effusive and enthusiastic owner, Gillian Harris, guiding us round this Aladdin’s Cave of textiles, crafts and kits.
